Zsuzsanna Kondor studied philosophy and history at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. She took her PhD in philosophy. Her publications include: Bevezetés a kultúrszociológiába ("Introduction to the Sociology of Culture", Miskolc: 1995), and „Objectivational Process or Spiritual Involvement?" (in: Fleissner - Nyíri, eds., Philosophy of Culture and the Politics of Electronic Networking, vol.1, Innsbruck-Wien / Budapest: 1999). Her main research topics are: philosophy of culture; history of communications technology and its social and intellectual consequences. Currently she is associated with the Institute for Philosophical Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
