Frenyó Zoltán (Budapest, 1955) studied history and philosophy at the Eötvös Lóránd University, Budapest. Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Reached PhD in 1997 with the dissertation "Christology and Anthropology in the Patristic Philosophy". Deals with the christian philosophy in the patristic and the modern ages, especially with the christian philosophy of history and of culture, with the christian social and political philosophy of our century, and the concept of christian Europe.
